The Vestry has decided to keep two members on call each month. In April Vivian Leinio and I have been on call. Our phone numbers and email have been available in the Email Blast as well as included in the Bulletin on Sunday. We are here to answer your concerns. It is also the job of those on call to also write an article for the Epistle. In addition his article is also published on the website at http://sttims.net/vestry-news/, by clicking the “Vestry News” graphic on the right sidebar of any page and in The Epistle.
As Clerk of the Vestry and also webmaster, I make sure that the minutes are posted on the website and in a book in the office. You can find them on the website at http://sttims.net/about-st-tims/documents-bulletins-newsletter-vestry-minutes-reports/#VM. The book in the office is located in the work room bookshelf under the phone on the north wall. You can also find these articles on the website at
The Vestry and leaders were to have a visioning day on Saturday, April 16, but springtime in Colorado got in the way! Had that meeting taken place, you would see a report of it here. There was a report on the last Vestry meeting of March 28 in the Epistle. The minutes of the April meeting will be posted after they are approved at the April Meeting on April 25th
Let me share with you what I feel the challenges are for Vestries in planning. We need to keep business in mind but remember that we are about God’s business. We need to constantly assess what God is doing in our midst and not get hung up on what we want to do. We must balance our resources between the many ministries based on what we feel God is calling us to do.
